The Kansas Voice Center
The Kansas Voice Center offers specialized care for individuals
with voice disorders. We provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment
of all vocal problems.
The Center serves as a resource for anyone with a voice disorder
as well as for those who use their voice professionally, including
singers, teachers, salespeople, coaches, attorneys, secretaries,
public speakers, clergy, and other occupations that require daily
voice use.
Diagnostic services include specialized personnel, medical evaluation,
perceptual voice evaluation, laryngeal video-stroboscopy, computerized
voice analysis, laryngeal pH testing, laryngeal EMG, and pulmonary
function testing.
Commonly treated voice disorders at the Kansas Voice Center include:
Vocal fold paralysis
Spasmodic Dysphonia
Papillomas
Nodules and polyps
Muscle tension
Chronic laryngitis
Cancer
Reflux
